Coco Coir

Coco coir is made from shredded coconut husks and it is the ideal, natural choice among hydroponic substrates. Using coconut coir also raises your sustainability game, because the materials used in its production are usually castoffs from commercial coconut production. Coco coir has similar absorptive properties to rockwool, but it is naturally derived and, unlike rockwool, coir can be reused once it is clean.
