Riococo Grow Bag - Super Washed (Pallet Quantities Only)

A special blend of coir chip and natural material. The selected raw materials are five times washed, blended without fine dust particles to make grow slabs for the required sizes. Slab has very high air fill porosity, moderate water holding capacity and balanced pH with very low EC and Sodium (Na) content. Grow slab has evenly distributed martial mix packed in UV stabilized co-extruded bags.

IRRIGATION PRACTICES:

Recommended irrigation strategy for 1 Gallon open top bag

• 100-150 ml of water per irrigation cycle
• Normal irrigation intervals begin 1-2 hours after sunrise and end 1-2 hours before sunset. There can be as few or as many irrigations as desired as long as there is approximately 15% runoff per day. Adjust irrigation cycle as needed—for example, during hot summer days, you might need to increase frequency — keeping in mind that:
• Runoff should be approximately 15% per day
• Overnight dry down should be 25%
• For 2, 3, and 5 gallon bags, increase the irrigation volume per cycle accordingly.

A caution: when planting in coco, it is especially important to closely monitor and “dial in” the pH and EC of your runoff within the first 2-3 weeks, especially with respect to calcium and potassium.
