Netafim Air Release Valve / Vent

To ensure the optimal conditions for successful Drip irrigaiton it is recommended to add air release valves in order to prevent air from getting trapped inside pipes or drip lines.

Often times pumps run dry, vortex and suck air, or systems have a leak that causes air to enter. These conditions can prevent drip irrigation from evenly and consistently dispersing water as intended.

When water gets inside a drip irrigation system it often times cannot easily exit and can cause air lock or prevent pumps from properly shutting off.

Installation of air release products should be performed by a trained technician to ensure the correct product is selected and properly installed. Air vents are often installed before a water meter, after a pump, or at the high point of an irrigation system so that rising air will make its way out.

APPLICATIONS
